About Me

I was told that when I was younger, there was an instance where I found a Sharpie and drew all over the walls of a hotel we were staying at. Thankfully my family knew the owners and so they just painted over it. But despite being painted over and leaving no trace afterwards, it left an impression on my family and myself about what the future may hold for me.

Since then, I’ve found better ways to tap into that interest that weren’t as harmful to hotels, finding a draw towards design and specifically digital design. One, because I find it easier to work with, and two, because it’s easier to fix mistakes.

thank you ctrl+z.

I do dabble in physical illustrations, but I see a focus in digital design to be where I excel the best. In my designs, I like to explore different concepts in the concept stage and find what is most effective and design with the best elements of those concepts. I like listening to feedback, as it gives me opportunities to improve my work and learn ideas that could be incorporated into a future design.

Hearing the thoughts and ideas of others and incorporating that into my work is a type of cooperation that I find fun in design, and not nearly as fun in other mediums. Work is always a work in progress, as there’s always room for improvement, even if you think otherwise: but that’s what makes designing fun for me.
